About us

We Started With a Question Nobody Was Asking

Most media companies start with a business plan. We started with a frustration.

It was sometime in 2025, and the three of us — a health researcher, a technology journalist, and a career strategist — found ourselves in the same conversation we’d been having for years: why is it so hard to find writing that actually respects your intelligence?

Not writing that dumbs things down into bullet points. Not content optimized to rank rather than to inform. Not hot takes engineered to make you angry enough to share. Just honest, well-researched, clearly written articles on the things that actually matter in people’s lives — their health, their work, their finances, the technology shaping their world, the food on their tables, the clothes on their backs.

We couldn’t find one place that did all of that well. So we built it.

Read&Post launched in early 2026 as a small editorial project with a clear editorial standard: every article we publish has to earn its place. It has to be accurate. It has to be written by someone who actually knows the subject. And it has to be worth the ten minutes of your life it asks for.

Who We Are

We are a small, distributed team of writers, editors, researchers, and subject-matter contributors based across the UK, the US, and the UAE.

Our core editorial team has backgrounds that directly shape what we cover:

Selene Okafor leads our Fashion and Lifestyle coverage. With a decade working in sustainable fashion consulting and editorial styling, Selene brings a perspective that goes beyond trend-chasing — she writes about why fashion choices matter, how they connect to supply chains, identity, and the environment, and what it actually looks like to build a wardrobe that works.

Daniel Marsh covers Career and Business. Daniel spent eight years in management consulting before making the shift to full-time writing and research. He writes about work the way someone who has sat in those meetings, negotiated those salaries, and navigated those career pivots actually thinks about it — practically, honestly, and without the LinkedIn motivational-poster gloss.

Eman Zahra handles Health. Eman holds a postgraduate background in public health and has spent years translating complex medical and nutritional research into writing that general readers can actually use. She is rigorous about sourcing and careful to distinguish between what the evidence says and what wellness marketing claims.

Rehan Malik is our Food editor. Rehan has worked as a food writer and recipe developer for regional publications, bringing the kind of specific, tested knowledge — about technique, about flavor, about food culture — that separates a good food piece from a generic one.

Our Technology section is edited by a rotating group of specialist contributors with professional backgrounds in software engineering, AI research, and consumer technology journalism. Every technology piece we publish is reviewed for factual accuracy before it goes live.

What We Believe About Publishing

We have a few principles we don’t bend on, and we think you deserve to know them.

We fact-check. Every article on Read&Post goes through an editorial review before publication. For health and medical content, we cross-reference primary sources — peer-reviewed research, official health body guidance, and verified expert commentary. We do not publish health claims that aren’t supported by credible evidence.

We are transparent about uncertainty. If the science on a topic is genuinely contested, we say so. If an article reflects one perspective among several legitimate ones, we note that. We’d rather give you an honest “the evidence is mixed” than a false confident answer.

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. Read&Post is an independent publication. No brand, company, or PR agency can pay to have their product featured in our editorial content. If we ever run sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as such — always.

We correct mistakes. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction at the bottom of the article. No quiet edits. No pretending it didn’t happen.

We write for readers, not algorithms. This means some of our articles won’t rank on page one of Google the day they’re published. We’re fine with that. We’re building a publication we’d actually want to read, not a content farm optimized to game a search engine.

What You’ll Find Here

Read&Post covers eight areas, each with a dedicated editorial team:

Business — strategy, economics, entrepreneurship, and the ideas reshaping how companies work.

Career — job searching, salary negotiation, professional development, and navigating the changing nature of work.

Education — the science of learning, higher education, skills development, and educational technology.

Fashion — sustainable style, wardrobe building, trend analysis, and the cultural context of what we wear.

Food — recipes worth making, nutrition research worth understanding, and food culture worth exploring.

Health — evidence-based coverage of physical and mental wellbeing, backed by research and reviewed for accuracy.

Technology — AI, computing, consumer tech, and the systems quietly shaping daily life.

Lifestyle — the broader questions of how we live, rest, connect, and spend our time well.

A Note on Our Standards

Read&Post is built around Google’s E-E-A-T framework — Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness — not because an algorithm requires it, but because we think those are simply the right standards for journalism.

Every author who writes for us has demonstrable experience in their field. Every article is reviewed editorially before publication. Every health or medical claim is sourced to peer-reviewed research or verified expert guidance. And every correction is handled openly, not quietly.

If you ever have a question about a source, a concern about accuracy in something we’ve published, or feedback we should hear, our editorial team is reachable at contact@readnpost.com We read every message.

We’re Glad You’re Here

Read&Post is still a young publication. We’re proud of what we’ve built so far, and we’re clear-eyed about how much further we want to take it.

If you’ve found something on this site that was worth your time, that’s exactly what we set out to do. And if you’re a writer, researcher, or subject-matter expert who shares our editorial values, we’d love to hear from you — our Write For Us page explains how to pitch.

Thank you for reading. It means more than a page-view counter can say.
